Unfading* Red
A hard-vein red slate with a rich color reminiscent of traditional Spanish mission tile.
Canadian Black
A dark, clean roofing slate suited to traditional and contemporary architecture.
Mottled Gray-Black
A gray background with darker gray-black mottling. Some weathering may occur. Sometimes called Strata Gray.
Royal Purple
A deep purple slate that may include small green markings. Some pieces may weather toward buff tones.
Semi-Weathering Gray-Green
Strong gray-green slate that gradually develops softer, varied tones after exposure without affecting durability.

* About “unfading” slate: All natural slate may change somewhat in color. Slate whose color changes only slightly has traditionally been classified as “permanent” or “unfading.”
