Hinged Ridge Vent Systems

Specifically designed for slate roofing, this vent system provides a quick and easy solution for a vented cap with a nailable surface for installing slate over the ridge.

4’ ridge vent sections are available 2 ways:

• A complete system including hinged extrusion, 8” plywood substrate, drip edge, vent fabric, and fasteners

• Individual components for custom assembly

This innovative system allows the installer to mechanically fasten slate to a solid wood substrate without sagging, breaking or subjecting the slate to wind damage, providing venting for both new and restoration construction.
